The 31-year-old appeared in a Chicago court today to hear the judge’s sentencing after he was found guilty of murdering the Oscar award-winning actress’s mother Darnell, brother Jason and nephew Julian King in 2008.

Jennifer was present in the court room as the judge told Balfour: “Your soul is as barren as dark space.”

Balfour, who maintained his innocence right up until the end, was earlier denied a new trial to prove his innocence.
