The ‘Who’s That Girl?’ rapper drew comparisons with the unity shared between herself, Lil Kim, Da Brat and Misssy Elliot to today’s female MCs, such as Azealia Banks and Iggy Azalea, who have engaged in a very public war.

Eve admitted that the lack of bonding “sucks” and reflected on how things have changed from when she and her fellow rappers thought nothing of lending their flow on one another’s records.

“I feel like when I was out and Missy was out, Kim, whatever, it was kind of shared in a sense and it’s not like that right now,” said the rapper to MTV.

When pressed on whether she thought Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj could ever build bridges and make music together, she chimed: “It’s a good business move so, yeah, it’d be a dope record. But will it happen? Who knows?”
