Beyonce has confirmed that she will be starting work on her fifth studio album in the next coming weeks, according to reports.

The ‘Run The World (Girls)’ star released her last studio album 4 in 2011, several months before she gave birth to her first child, Blue Ivy. Ever the professional, Beyonce headed back to work in May when she performed for the first time since giving birth, at the Revel Resort in Atlantic City.

After the successful shows, it seems Bey is ready to go back to work full-time and will be heading to the recording studio in the next few weeks to lay down her forthcoming album.

Beyonce recently headed back to her hometown in Houston where she took a private tour of The Menil Collection museum, courtesy of curator Toby Kamps.

“Beyoncé told Kamps that she is about to start recording a new album but not before her merry band visits Marfa to view the Donald Judd and Dan Flavin works at the Chinati Foundation,” reports Culture Map Houston.
